Welcome to Issue #1 of Other Realities, a newsletter centered around technology and experiences in virtual worlds and beyond. Expect a blend of Augmented Reality (AR), Virtual Reality (VR), Mixed Reality (MR), and other Extended Reality (XR) content on full display each issue.
Now is a great time to be in the virtual space. With the cost of head mounted units (HMUs) at affordable prices a home setup has never been easier to manage. And if you don't have a headset, anyone with a smartphone (which is pretty much everyone with a phone these days) has the tools they need to create fun experiences for free.
